​Pottsboro ISD Education Foundation Purpose Statement:
                The Pottsboro ISD Education Foundation has been created to support educational endeavors for students and staff of the Pottsboro Independent School District. The Foundation will foster creative approaches to educational instruction by granting funds for endeavors that are not supported by tax dollars. Foundation grants will be used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, to recognize and encourage staff excellence, and to increase involvement of individuals, businesses and civic organizations within the community.
 
Pottsboro ISD Mission Statement:          
     Pottsboro Independent School District will provide an education program characterized by quality, equity, and accountability that will help our students build essential academic skills necessary for lifelong learning. By developing the ability to think logically, independently, and creatively each student will achieve a feeling of self-worth and the confidence required to conquer the challenges of our ever-changing world environment.

Pottsboro ISD Education Foundation Mission Statement:
            The mission of the Pottsboro ISD Education Foundation is to generate and distribute resources to the Pottsboro Independent School District to enrich, maintain, and expand programs needed to meet the District’s stated mission of excellence in education.
            The Foundation will achieve its mission and offer continual support of the Pottsboro Independent School District by directing resources for the following activities:
  • Encourage all students to reach their highest potential through hard work.
  • Recognize exemplary staff for utilizing innovative teaching strategies.
  • Support creative approaches to educational endeavors not funded by tax dollars.
  • Foster awareness and create opportunities for community support of the Pottsboro ISD Education Foundation.
  • Inspire parents and community leaders to enrich education through opportunities to volunteer time and lend financial support.
